Monica Lanton has been employed with Procter & Gamble for over 22 years and currently works in the Fabric & Home Care division as a Quality Assurance Site Leader. She received her BS in Agricultural Business from The Ohio State University. She has been a resident of North College Hill since 1999 and is a native of Cincinnati. Her involvement with NCH school district began when her daughter attended the elementary school. Her daughter is currently in the middle school. Monica took an interest in the school board after being a frequent parent volunteer at NCH. She has a passion for children as well as the school’s level of excellence.
Chris Powers, Ph.D., is a 15 year veteran of higher education administration. He has extensive experience in college admission, financial aid, student services and student affairs. Chris currently works at Thomas More College as the Vice President of Enrollment and Student Affairs. Before coming to Thomas More College, Chris worked at Hanover College in Indiana, Miami University in Ohio, and the University of Cincinnati. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from Berea College, his master’s degree in Higher Education from the University of Louisville, and his doctorate in Educational Studies from the University of Cincinnati. Chris and his wife Christi, have two sons, and have lived in North College Hill since 2004.
