In light of this morning’s incident, NCH would like to encourage all parents to speak with their children about safe practices walking to and from school. Students need to be in groups when possible; follow safe routes; and if they have a cell phone, know how to dial emergency numbers. Most importantly, please review with your children how to respond to strangers they may encounter on their route. Our students’ safety is of the utmost importance and it takes a village to help keep them safe. Every Student, Every Day.
