Welcome Officer Shepherd, NCH's New SRO!

Hello, I’m Officer Lauren Shepherd, and I wanted to take the time to introduce myself as the new School Resource Officer for the North College Hill City Schools.

I am very excited to be a part of the Trojan’s team, and look forward to getting to know all of the students, parents, and staff this year!

I would like to tell you a little about myself. I have been with the North College Hill Police Department for four years now, having started just after completing the Butler Tech Police Academy in 2016.

I graduated from Fairfield High School in 2012, where I also obtained a vocational certificate in Criminal Justice through the Butler Tech High School program. After high school and prior to police academy, I worked at Cornerstone Child Development Center in Fairfield, where I was in charge of the school-age classroom, as well as volunteered with different youth programs through my church. Although I work primarily in Law Enforcement, I have always loved working with kids as well.

I hope to be a good resource for you and your child this school year, and welcome all parents and students to reach out to me anytime.

I do not have a direct phone line, but you can always call the North College Hill PD number at 513-521-7171 and I will return your call, or you can email me day or night at [email protected].

My email goes directly to my cell phone like a text message, so that would be the quickest way to reach me.

In the upcoming year, I hope to help provide a safe learning environment for the students, as well as developing strategies to resolve problems affecting the students and staff, so they can reach their fullest potentials.

I look forward to working with you and your child this year, and hope everyone had a great summer!
