The North College Hill City Schools are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Eugene Blalock Jr. to the position of Superintendent. Mr. Gary Gellert, the current Superintendent, will retire at the end of July.
Mr. Blalock is currently the Principal and Instructional Leader of South Elementary in the Mt. Healthy City Schools. He and his wife Lynne have lived in North College Hill for 18 years. They have two daughters who attend North College Hill High School; Janae' (12th grader) & Jasmine (11th grader). Mr. Blalock is a native of Cleveland, OH and is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, College of Education. While at the University, he earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degree. In additional, he received his principal and superintendent certificate from Xavier University. Mr. Blalock has over 20 years of experience in education as a teacher and an administrator.
