Recipients of the Award of Achievement are honored for their commitment to training and leadership activities on their boards of education and region as well as statewide activities.
Recipients of the Master Board Member Award dedicate themselves to improving their boardmanship skills and knowledge. All Master Board Members first must earn OSBA’s Award of Achievement.
An Ohio public school board member must complete numerous professional development workshops and activities before being considered for the Master Board Member Award. Leadership on school boards or educational service center governing boards, active involvement in student leadership and other statewide OSBA activities are but a few of the requirements.
For more information, contact OSBA or your local school board members.
In its 63rd year, OSBA leads the way to educational excellence by serving the Ohio’s public school board members and the diverse districts they represent through superior service, unwavering advocacy and creative solutions.
