First Three Members

The first three members of the Hall of Fame are from the North College Hill High School's first graduating class, the Class of 1935. The three Trojans are Daniel Garvin, Milivoy Garvin and Louis Groen.
 
Daniel Garvin (1986 Inductee)
Track:
  • - Earned nine varsity awards in track
  • - Probably the top track athlete at North College Hill during his four high school years
Basketball:
  • - Earned nine varsity awards in basketball
Soccer:
  • - Earned varsity awards in soccer
Other:
  • - Participated in drama and was involved in the senior play
  • - Was a reporter and business manager for the school newspaper, the Monitor
 
Milivoy "Milt" Garvin (1986 Inductee)
Track:
  • - Earned three varsity awards in track
Basketball:
  • - Earned three varsity awards in basketball
Soccer:
  • - Varsity player on the North College Hill soccer team for three years
Other:
  • - President of the Class of 1935
  • - Founder and CEO of Garvin Industries in Cincinnati
  • - Involved in many civic-minded endeavors
 
Louis Melvin Groen (1986 Inductee)
Basketball:
  • - Key player for the basketball team, contributing to their success
  • - Earned three varsity awards for basketball
Track:
  • - Earned varsity awards in track
Soccer:
  • - Earned varsity awards in soccer
Other:
  • - Served as the sports editor for the school newspaper, the Monitor
  • - Was the Class of 1935 Vice President
  • - Got involved in McDonald's Restaurants after graduation and World War II
  • - Introduced the McDonald's fish sandwich to the patrons of McDonald's Restaurants
  • - Very active in both local and national charitable and civic organizations
