Hello to the NCH Community! I am thrilled and honored to be joining the North College Hill City Schools as Principal of the Trojan Way Learning Center. I look forward to serving these students, staff, and support systems using a team-oriented approach. Simply put, it takes ALL of us to challenge, encourage, and bring up our next generation of leaders, citizens, and lifelong learners. In whatever our students choose to do after high school, our goal is to equip and empower them to be the best that they can be. Every student, every day!
I grew up in Fairfield, Ohio before attending college at Morehead State University. There, I was able to graduate with a degree in K-12 Special Education and K-5 General Ed. I spent 7 years as an Intervention Specialist at Fairfield High School, working with various levels of amazing learners. During this time, I was able to go back to school to get my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the Ohio State University. I spent the next 3 years as the Assistant Principal at Fairfield Central Elementary, serving around 800 students in grades K-5. After this, I spent 2 years as the Principal of the Winton Woods Early Childhood Center. I pride myself on a background working with all types of learners from all age groups. I look forward to working alongside this wonderful team at the TWLC.
Outside of school you may find me spending time with my family, (trying) to play golf, and enjoying some fresh air outside! My wonderful wife is a teacher, and between us we have 4 amazing children. They keep us active in various sports, dance, after-school clubs, etc. Although busy, we wouldn’t have it any other way! In closing, I am eager to not only do the best possible job inside the TWLC, but make the most of what I can do outside of those school hours. My goal is to be a part of the North College Hill Community at-large, being engaged, active, and supportive however I can! Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have! I’m always ready to listen!
