Virtual Program

Program Information

North College Hill City School

What is NCH Virtual Program?

Students enrolled in the North College Hill City School District Virtual Program will have the same opportunities as students who attend the traditional school building to participate in all extra-curricular, academic, and non-academic activities. Students will be able to engage in rigorous academic course work at their own pace allowing for flexible scheduling based on their individual learning styles.

Our virtual school curriculum is aligned with the Ohio Learning Standards and all students will still be required to meet mandated state testing requirements to receive a North College Hill City School District diploma upon completion of graduation requirements.

Parents and/or caregivers will be able to choose one of the three Virtual School options.

  1. K–5 Fully Virtual Model – A completely online learning experience for students in grades K through 5, with dedicated certified teachers guiding instruction and maintaining regular communication with families. Students are required to attend daily virtual sessions based on the schedule provided by their teacher.
  2. Virtual School and/or Credit Recovery Model – Designed for students in grades 6–12, this model combines virtual coursework with scheduled time in our on-site virtual lab. Certified teachers are assigned to support student learning, facilitate credit recovery, and assist families throughout the process.
  • Students in grades K-5 will be using the Accelerated Learning platform. Students will take courses in Mathematics, Language Arts (Reading, Writing, Grammar, etc.), Science, Social Studies, Art, Music and Physical Education. (More info about Accelerated Learning)
