* Lorenzo Sparks Honored

Senior basketball player Lorenzo Sparks was recognized Monday night at the 3rd Annual Cincinnati.com Sports Awards presented by Tri-Health. The event was held at historic Music Hall and Cincinnati Bengals All-Pro wide receiver A.J. Green was the guest speaker. Lorenzo was nominated by local media and was a finalist for Cincinnati boys basketball player of the year. The award went to Deer Park’s Damani McEntire. Nevertheless Lorenzo and his North College Hill teammates had an outstanding season making it to the Regional Tournament and finishing as one of the top 16 teams in the state of Ohio.

Syncere Dubose-Miami Valley Conference Player of the Week — Syncere Dubose-MVC Player of the Week. In the last two games, the senior guard totaled 32 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists, and was perfect from the free throw line while also leading the Trojans in a road win over Seven Hills.

Miami Valley Conference Player of the Week-Tejay Bouldin (Boys Basketball) — Tejay Bouldin-MVC Player of the Week. The junior forward led the Trojans in two victories this past week over Clark & Oyler. He recorded 30 points and 21 rebounds and is averaging a double-double through three games. The Trojans are currently 3-0.
