How does the district keep schools safe?
All school buildings follow established safety protocols, including visitor check-in procedures and coordination with district leadership and local law enforcement when necessary.
What happens if an outside agency comes to a school?
If any outside agency, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), comes to a school campus, the district will follow all applicable federal, state, and local laws. District leadership will coordinate with the North College Hill Police Department to ensure proper procedures are followed and student and staff safety is maintained.
Do schools ask about a student’s immigration status?
No. The district does not ask for or collect information related to a student’s immigration status.
Will families be notified if there is a safety concern?
The district will communicate with families as appropriate, following established protocols, while prioritizing student safety and privacy.
Who can I contact with questions or concerns?
Families are encouraged to contact their school principal or the superintendent/superintendent designee for additional information.
